The combination of a young QB and a new coaching staff could lead to more playing time than usual this preseason. Still, there's no guarantee of Ward playing more than a series or two Thursday night.

Tate's explosiveness stood out during red-zone and plus-territory team drills in Sunday's practice. He beat out Alontae Taylor and Cor'Dale Flott for touchdowns in separate reps, with Tate demonstrating a strong connection with second-year quarterback Cam Ward. The No. 4 overall pick of the 2026 NFL Draft, Tate looks to see plenty of offensive snaps in his rookie campaign alongside veteran wideouts Wan'Dale Robinson and Calvin Ridley.

Mullins went to the locker room toward the tail end of Friday's training camp practice. He'll have his injury closely monitored over the next few days, and it's unclear whether his hip issue will prevent him from playing in Thursday's preseason opener against San Francisco. Any and all reps in training camp and exhibition contests are crucial for Mullings, who is competing against Michael Carter and Julius Chestnut for a depth spot on the Titans' 53-man roster for the 2026 regular season.

There's no indication Spears is dealing with anything serious, but he may be held out of practice until his current soreness subsides. The 25-year-old is expected to serve as Tennessee's No. 2 RB this season, and the could be more of a "1B" to starter Tony Pollard than a pure backup. Spears has 1,048 regular-season rushing yards and 873 receiving yards through three NFL campaigns, so he has the potential to make an impact in fantasy as a dual-threat asset.

Ayomanor exited Thursday's practice early due to an issue with his left shoulder, but he apparently dodged a serious injury. The second-year wideout is competing for slotting in Tennessee's wideout pecking order, so it's important that he didn't have to miss much time.

Goodrich has spent time with the Giants, Broncos and Jets since joining the Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2022. The cornerback also spent some time playing for the Birmingham Stallions in the UFL, but he is ready to take another crack at NFL football. Goodrich has played in four NFL regular-season games, all in 2023, when he totaled five tackles (three solo) over 67 defensive snaps and 40 special-teams snaps.

Kane was waived/injured by the Titans on Thursday but was not claimed off waivers by another team. Now that he's on IR, the 2024 seventh-rounder will be forced to miss the entire 2026 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with Tennessee.

A sixth-round selection of the Titans in the 2025 NFL Draft, Harris appeared in 14 regular-season games (five starts) last year and logged 28 tackles (18 solo), five pass defenses and one forced fumble. He suffered a season-ending knee injury in late December but is fully healthy for training camp, where he will look to solidify a starting role in the secondary for the 2026 campaign.

Simmons underwent surgery during the offseason to address an issue with his elbow, but it doesn't seem to be limiting him now that training camp has started up. He's coming off his first All-Pro season and figures to play a massive role on Tennessee's defensive line in 2026.

Per Reising, Latham is still limited at training camp for now, but it's a step in the right direction as the start of the regular season approaches. As long as he's available, he figures to again start at right tackle for the Titans in 2026.

Oladejo missed OTAs due to a hamstring issue. The 2025 second-round draft pick played in just six games last season before succumbing to leg injuries. The young defensive end is ready to prove he can fit anywhere on the defense and should serve as a solid depth option for the Titans in 2026.

Trubisky had been considered day-to-day due to general tightness, but the veteran backup has recovered from that issue. He's competing against Will Levis for the second spot on the quarterback depth chart behind 2025 first overall pick Cam Ward.

Ridley missed just one day of practice and is now expected to be a full participant. He'll likely get plenty of first-team snaps, but Carnell Tate and Wan'Dale Robinson are the favorites to see the most targets, while Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor loom as threats to push Ridley for playing time. Ridley was a limited participant in spring practices after breaking his fibula in Week 11 last year.

Trubisky is set to begin the season as the backup, but Coach Robert Saleh stated Tuesday that Levis will have the opportunity to win the job. Levis' last opportunity as a starter was in 2024, when he played 12 regular-season games, producing 191 completions (63.1 percent completion rate) for 2,091 passing yards and 13 touchdowns to 12 interceptions.

Hooker was placed on the active/PUP list last Thursday, but his undisclosed issue was clearly not significant, as the safety is all set to suit up for training camp. Hooker logged 81 tackles (58 solo) and produced eight passes defensed in 2025 across 16 regular-season games. The defensive back is once again set to be the starting strong safety for the Titans in 2026.

A 2022 seventh-round pick of the Chiefs, Johnson outperformed his draft slotting in 2024 while recording 56 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and three defensed passes across 16 regular-season games that season. However, a shoulder injury limited to two regular-season games and just a single defensive snap in 2025. Now healthy, Johnson will look for a fresh start in the Titans' secondary rotation.

Robinson signed a four-year, $78 million contract with the Titans in March on the heels of a 16-game, 2025 regular season with the Giants in which he caught 92 of 140 targets for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns, setting career highs in the last two categories. The slot receiver unsurprisingly needed some time to gain familiarity with his new quarterback, but the connection between Robinson and Ward has been trending in the right direction heading into training camp. Robinson will compete for targets in a wide-receiver room that also includes rookie fourth overall pick Carnell Tate, veteran Calvin Ridley and 2025 fourth-round picks Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike.

Carter's familiarity with coach Robert Saleh from their time together with the Jets could help him carve out a spot in Tennessee. He boasts receiving skills and versatility, but Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears are firmly positioned atop the depth chart, while rookie Nicholas Singleton represents real competition for the No. 3 spot. Carter will need to separate from Singleton in order to secure a notable role behind Pollard and Spears.

Helm set a franchise rookie tight end record with 44 catches for 357 yards and two touchdowns while suiting up for 16 regular-season games in 2025. Added competition may limit his fantasy ceiling, but a strong offseason would give Helm a chance to earn a larger role in Tennessee's offense, and the departure of Chig Okonkwo for the Commanders opens up notable receiving opportunities. Helm appears the favorite to win the No. 1 tight end job during training camp, with Daniel Bellinger and Kylen Granson fitting into complementary roles.

As a rookie, the 2025 fourth-rounder compiled a 48/423/4 receiving line (on 74 targets) across 17 regular-season games, adding a pair of punt return scores, while fellow 2025 fourth-rounder Elic Ayomanor logged a 41/515/4 mark on 89 targets. However, the free-agent addition of Wan'Dale Robinson, coupled with the selection of Carnell Tate fourth overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, poses a threat to the volume of both Dike and Ayomanor in their second pro campaigns, given that Calvin Ridley (limited to seven games last year) also remains in the mix. As Suss notes, Dike's speed makes him an asset, but as Week 1 approaches the Florida product's weekly role in Tennessee's passing game is TBD considering his team's offseason moves. That said, Dike should continue to make his mark as a returner after establishing the all-time NFL rookie record for all-purpose yards (which included 1,588 kickoff return yards and 398 punt return yards) in 2025.

Bellinger spent the last four seasons playing under offensive coordinator Brian Daboll with the Giants, making him one of Tennessee's most familiar additions to the new offensive scheme. While 2025 fourth-rounder Gunnar Helm is expected to handle plenty of receiving work following the departure of Chig Okonkwo (now with the Commanders), Bellinger's blocking ability makes him a natural fit for the heavier personnel packages Daboll is expected to employ. That familiarity, combined with the vacancy created by Okonkwo's departure, gives the 25-year-old a legitimate chance to earn consistent snaps with the Titans.

Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site previously noted plenty of speculation that the team might use the fourth overall pick in the draft on Notre Dame running Jeremiyah Love. With Tennessee electing to take Ohio State wideout Carnell Tate instead, Pollard remains atop the depth chart and has his sights set on exceeding 1,000 rushing yards for a fifth straight campaign. The Titans still have Spears to handle passing downs and change-of-pace carries, and Singleton has a chance to factor in as a rookie, but Pollard should maintain steady volume in the final season of the three-year deal he inked with Tennessee in March of 2024.

SIngleton suffered a Jones fracture in his foot at the Senior Bowl back in January but was deemed fully healthy ahead of the NFL Draft in April. While medically cleared, it sounds like the Titans are bringing the rookie running back along slowly and not completely unleashing him during spring practices, aiming to have him 100 percent ready for the start of training camp in July. Singleton is expected to compete for snaps and touches behind Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears under new OC Brian Daboll.

Williams suffered an AC joint injury in his right shoulder during the season finale last year, but there are no lingering effects to start the offseason program. The 2024 seventh-round pick played just 79 defensive snaps over 16 gamers last year. With Arden Key with the Colts now, Williams could push for an increased role in 2026, and he should remain useful on special teams regardless.

Winston finished his rookie season on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, but he appears to be back to full strength now. The third-round pick played 10 games (four starts) last year and finished with 34 tackles (21 solo), 1.0 sacks and two pass breakups. With Xavier Woods out the door, Winston will compete with Tony Adams for the starting free safety job.
