Injuries
Tony Santillan15-Day-IL
Reds manager Terry Francona said Friday that an MRI on Santillan's left oblique showed a significant strain, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.
More detail
Santillan — who has notched each of the Reds' last three saves — was placed on the 15-day injured list earlier Friday, and he appears to be facing a prolonged absence. Emilio Pagan (hamstring) is expected back from the IL soon and could immediately retake his closer job. Until then, Pierce Johnson and/or Tejay Antone could get a look in the ninth inning.
Nick LodoloDay-To-Day
Reds manager Terry Francona said that Lodolo (wrist) "showed up pretty good" when he reported to the ballpark Wednesday, Charlie Clifford of NBC 5 Cincinnati reports.
More detail
Lodolo was forced from Tuesday's start versus the Brewers after being struck on the left wrist by a comebacker off the bat of Jackson Chourio. However, X-rays returned negative, and Francona's words Wednesday indicate that Lodolo has minimal swelling. He'll need to get through his normal between-starts bullpen session first, but Lodolo appears on track to make his next scheduled start, which is lined up for Monday in Milwaukee.
Hunter Greene60-Day-IL
Reds manager Terry Francona said Wednesday that Greene (elbow) will make one more rehab start with Triple-A Louisville on Sunday, Charlie Clifford of NBC 5 Cincinnati reports.
More detail
Greene is slated to throw 80-to-85 pitches in his third rehab start and, if all goes well, will rejoin the Reds' rotation for his season debut late next week. The right-hander has looked sharp in his first two rehab outings, sitting in the upper-90s with his fastball while tossing eight scoreless innings with a 9:2 K:BB. Greene is coming back from surgery to remove bone chips from his right elbow.
Emilio Pagan15-Day-IL
Pagan (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment Thursday, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.
More detail
It's not clear which minor-league affiliate Pagan will be assigned to, but Goldsmith says the reliever's rehab assignment is expected to be brief. Pagan has been sidelined since early May with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain. Tony Santillan has pitched well lately as the Reds' closer, but Pagan should eventually reclaim his old gig.
Brandon Williamson60-Day-IL
Williamson (shoulder) tossed a bullpen session Saturday, his first since landing on the injured list April 30, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.
More detail
Though Williamson is expected to remain out through the All-Star break, he's making progress with his throwing program at the Reds' facility in Arizona and could be ready to start facing hitters within the next two or three weeks. Williamson posted a 6.11 ERA and 1.64 WHIP in 28 innings over six starts with Cincinnati before being deactivated due to left shoulder fatigue.
Ke'Bryan Hayes10-Day-IL
Hayes (back) has begun hitting at the Reds' training facility in Arizona, MLB.com reports.
More detail
Hayes is also working to improve core stabilization with an eye toward preventing continued issues with the back. He's served the 10-day minimum requirement on the injured list and can be activated at any time, but the report indicates his return as to be determined.
Graham Ashcraft60-Day-IL
Ashcraft (elbow) received a platelet-rich plasma injection Tuesday, MLB.com reports.
More detail
Ashcraft got the injection after a second opinion confirmed he's dealing with a UCL sprain. The right-hander was immediately placed on the 60-day injured list following the injury last Friday and is not expected back until some point after the All-Star break.

Carson SpiersOut
The Reds re-signed Spiers (elbow) to a minor-league contract with an invitation to spring training Monday.
More detail
Spiers was non-tendered by Cincinnati last week, but he'll remain in the organization on a minor-league pact. The right-hander is expected to miss most, if not all, of the 2026 season after having Tommy John surgery in late July, so it's likely a two-year minor-league contract.
