With the injury, Joyce finishes the season with a 4.11 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, five saves and three blown saves in 15.1 innings across 16 games. The Angels recalled Trevor Martin from Triple-A Salt Lake in a corresponding move Thursday.

While Klassen's bullpen sessions have been going well, the Angels have no reason to rush him back at this stage. Klassen made four starts in August in his return to the big club, posting an encouraging 2.01 ERA and 1.21 WHIP over 22.1 innings. He should compete for a spot in the starting rotation in spring training, health permitting.

Schanuel was cleared to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Salt Lake last weekend, but he appeared in just one game Sunday and hasn't played since. He rejoined the team Friday to undergo further testing and receive treatment, and although the results of his latest tests are unknown, manager Kurt Suzuki said that the 24-year-old will most likely be shut down for the year. Vaughn Grissom is expected to continue working as the Angels' primary first baseman for the rest of the regular season.

Paris has slashed .307/.427/.554 with 13 homes runs and 16 stolen bases across 288 plate appearances through 62 games since getting promoted to Triple-A Salt Lake on June 9. The 24-year-old got a run of 44 games for the Angeles in 2025 when he slashed .190/.266/.381 with six home runs and seven stolen bases across 139 plate appearances. He will look to improve upon that in September and may see action at second base, shortstop, left field or center field.

Natera was on the 15-day injured list due to lower back spasms that he started getting bothered by Aug. 15. The southpaw began a rehab assignment with Single-A Cucamonga on Friday and also made an appearance Sunday. Through the two games, the 26-year-old tossed two scoreless innings on zero hits, a walk and a strikeout.

Moncada underwent right knee surgery in early June. He's been rehabbing at his home in Florida but isn't close to a return to game action. In the likely event that Moncada's campaign is indeed over, he'll finish with a .189/.308/.297 slash line, three homers, nine runs, 10 RBI and one stolen base over 41 games.

Campero suffered a right hamstring strain in late August and subsequently landed on the IL. He's spent most of 2026 in the minors, compiling a .313/.389/.914 slash line with 13 homers, 61 runs, 54 RBI and 12 stolen bases over 69 games across three levels. If Campero's season is indeed over, he'll end up having gone 4-for-11 with one double and two RBI over four contests with the Angels.

That's obviously good news for the right-handed hurler, who went under the knife in mid-June. Kochanowicz will be out for the remainder of this season and for at least a portion of 2027, though he could potentially return to action late in the campaign. He posted a 6.19 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 47:36 K:BB over 64 frames spanning 13 starts this season before being sidelined.

Stephenson was placed on the 60-day injured list prior to Opening Day due to right elbow inflammation, an issue that cropped up during spring training. He had initially been eased into workouts during camp after he had experienced symptoms of thoracic outlet syndrome over the winter. While Stephenson was able to avoid another UCL reconstruction surgery after previously requiring the procedure in May 2024, the 33-year-old right-hander is nonetheless on track to miss his second full season since signing a three-year, $33 million deal with the Angels following the 2023 campaign. The contract includes a $2.5 million club option for 2027, so the Angels could still look to bring him back next season if they're satisfied with where he stands in the rehab process.

Rendon agreed to a buyout with the Angels in December and won't play this season. However, he will remain on the team's official roster and presumably spend the entire year on the 60-day IL.

Anderson was quickly pulled from Saturday's start after taking a comebacker off his pitching arm in the fourth inning. It appears the 22-year-old southpaw has avoided a serious injury, a good sign for him and the Mariners heading into the offseason. Anderson made his major-league debut Aug. 22, and across seven big-league starts he posted a 3.79 ERA and 1.23 WHIP across 35.2 innings.

Munoz hasn't pitched since Sunday due to knee problems, and although MRI results on his knee came back negative Tuesday, the Mariners will play it safe and shut their closer down for the year. The 27-year-old didn't quite live up to expectations this season, posting a 4.24 ERA and 1.22 WHIP across 57.1 innings, but he still managed to turn in 28 saves and an 89:24 K:BB. Troy Taylor was called up from Triple-A in a corresponding move.

It's unclear how long Rodden's knee has been bothering him, but the injury will prematurely end the infielder's season. He'll finish with a lowly .197/.306/.279 batting line with zero home runs and zero stolen bases in 30 contests for the Mariners.

Davila had just been recalled from Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday, and he hurt himself in an appearance later that day in the Mariners' 7-0 loss to the Blue Jays. Though he will be eligible for activation in mid-September, the nature of the injury points to Davila being out longer than that, possibly for the rest of the season.

Brash had been ramping up toward a return, throwing bullpen sessions in late August, but this setback eliminates any hope for a return this season. The flamethrowing right-hander made 20 appearances out of the Seattle bullpen in between IL stints, posting a 0.54 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 15:6 K:BB over 16.2 innings.

Donovan has still felt concussion symptoms like nausea, fatigue and dizziness while participating in pregame workouts, and he will not be cleared to play until he can make it through a whole pregame workout symptom free. The 29-year-old has been sidelined since he was hit in the head by a baseball prior to a game against the Cubs on Aug. 22.

Davis hasn't played in a game at Tacoma since late May while recovering from a strained left hamstring. His move to the 60-day IL won't affect his return timeline, but it will free up a roster spot for Stuart Fairchild, who was selected to the active roster in a corresponding move. It's unknown how far away Davis is from returning.

The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for the return of Cooper Criswell from the 60-day IL. Emerson underwent season-ending surgery last week to repair a tendon in his left wrist.

Hancock felt something off in his left leg early on in his most recent start Friday against Toronto. The 27-year-old went on to take the loss after allowing five runs over five innings. The right-hander will miss a minimum of 15 days and a couple of starts for Seattle. The Mariners recalled Nick Davila from Triple-A Tacoma to fill in for Hancock on the 26-man roster.

The move opens up a spot on the 40-man roster for left-hander Jhonathan Diaz, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Tacoma. The move also means Raley will be sidelined for the rest of the regular season, though he would be eligible to play in the postseason should the Mariners qualify and if he's made a full recovery from his left forearm strain. He'll finish the 2026 campaign with a .225/.284/.439 slash line with 15 home runs, one stolen base, 39 RBI and 28 runs across 287 plate appearances.

Wilcox came on in relief with one out in the top of the seventh. He didn't inherit any runners, but he gave up three earned runs on a home run after allowing two singles. He was able to end the inning himself. With left oblique tightness, it can be expected that the right-hander will land on the injured list.

Wilson began his rehab assignment with Everett last Friday and moved up to Tacoma on Tuesday. He's been shelved since early May with a fractured left thumb and could need a few more rehab games before the Mariners consider returning him to their active roster.

The transaction clears a spot on the 40-man roster for the arrival of Josh Simpson, who was acquired via trade with the Marlins on Monday. Evans will miss the entire 2026 season after undergoing UCL reconstruction surgery with an internal brace in January.
