Davis has made 24 appearances out of the Chicago bullpen this season, logging a 4.10 ERA and 22:15 K:BB over 26.1 frames. The righty will provide a fresh arm in middle relief.

Thorpe has been on the shelf all season while completing his recovery from April 2025 Tommy John surgery. He appears to have been healthy for quite some time, but rather than activating him from the 60-day injured list, the White Sox have elected to keep him on an extended rehab assignment. Since beginning his minor-league assignment July 18, Thorpe has made eight starts. His last four have come at Charlotte, with whom he's turned in a 3.20 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 18:3 K:BB in 19.2 innings.

Pham joined Chicago on Aug. 31 in a trade with Philadelphia and logged just one plate appearance with his new club before getting hurt. Catcher Edgar Quero was recalled from Triple-a Charlotte on Sunday to take Pham's spot on the 28-man active roster.

Berroa has been on the injured list all season while working his way back from Tommy John surgery and a setback he suffered while pitching in the Arizona Complex League. Brazoban landed on the 15-day injured list Aug. 25 with a left lat strain, so he shouldn't require a lengthy rehab stint with Charlotte. Picked up at the trade deadline from the Mets, Brazoban has been hit hard in 10 appearances with Chicago, allowing seven runs on 12 hits and six walks with just five strikeouts across 10 innings.

Leasure will miss the remainder of this season and likely all of next season while on the mend. Fegan notes that the right-hander hopes to be ready for spring of 2028. Leasure landed on the injured list in late May with a right flexor strain, and while he had been cleared to resume throwing side sessions at the beginning of August, it was ultimately determined that he needed to go under the knife to repair his UCL.

Bart's hand was hit by a pitch during Thursday's game against Boston. The veteran catcher is set to be sidelined until at least mid-September, and how he progresses in his recovery program will determine whether he'll be back in action with the White Sox before the conclusion of the 2026 season. With Kyle Teel also sidelined until at least September due to a left high-ankle sprain, Drew Romo and Edgar Quero will handle catching duties for the White Sox moving forward.

The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster for outfielder Dustin Harris, who was called up from Triple-A Charlotte. Vasil underwent Tommy John surgery in March and will be sidelined until around the middle of the 2027 season.

Murray suffered a left shoulder dislocation and fracture while making a diving catch in left field against the Nationals in late April. He's eligible for reinstatement Sept. 23 and should be on track to rejoin the Guardians on that date or shortly thereafter, assuming his subsequent rehab appearances go well.

Hoskins still has time to make it back from the injured list before the end of the regular season, though he'll need to take live at-bats in simulated games and/or head out on a minor-league rehab assignment prior to being activated. Once he rejoins the Guardians, Hoskins will likely occupy the short side of a platoon at first base with Nathaniel Lowe.
